Dr. Klagholz also serves as Board President and founding member of the Mary C. Jackson Center for Family Research, which seeks to empower at-risk families by developing support services that target education, resiliency, and social/emotional well-being. Support services include research, project development, and training/technical support for social service agencies in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Current initiatives target early childhood mental health, school readiness, youth development and literacy/education in young women.
